Tan Eng Tong is the co-founder and CEO of Cytron Technologies. He started his robotic journey in 2003 with a team of aspiring undergraduates who represented their university in a robotic competition, which in turn sparked their passion and entrepreneurial spirits. Established in late 2004, Cytron developed various kinds of training kits, development boards, electronics modules to facilitate makers, researchers and engineers in their robotic related projects. In hope of inspiring and nurturing younger generations into technology leaders, Cytron then spent years to develop a user friendly robotic kit, rero, that was launched in early 2015 as ASEAN's first educational robotic kit. rero, a robot that is user friendly, hassle free, and requires no programming knowledge, allows you to explore and build your own robot.
